Design and installation of hydraulic valve block
2021-07-05 08:38:18

The hydraulic valve block can not only simplify the design and installation of the hydraulic system, but also facilitate the integration and standardization of the hydraulic system, reduce the manufacturing cost and improve the reliability. With the improvement of the complexity and integration of the hydraulic system, higher requirements are put forward for the design of the hydraulic valve block.

The system consists of hydraulic control unit, servo cylinder and power oil station.

The hydraulic control unit consists of speed control valve control unit and turbine stator blade control unit. Each unit is composed of electro-hydraulic servo valve, electric solenoid valve, quick closing solenoid valve, oil circuit block and base.

The servo cylinder is of double piston rod structure, with low friction and good sealing performance. The power oil station is composed of oil tank, variable displacement oil pump, oil filter, cooler, pipeline valve, detector meter, etc.

Hydraulic manifold blocks, also known as combined hydraulic blocks and hydraulic valve blocks, appeared as early as the 1960s. The integrated hydraulic components are connected with the connecting holes on the valve block to form the hydraulic system with different functions. It has the advantages of compact structure, convenient installation, flexible configuration and neat appearance. At the same time, due to the high degree of standardization, integration and generalization, valve block is widely used in hydraulic system.

In the hydraulic valve block design process, some places need to pay attention to, valve block manufacturers here to do a brief analysis, because the author's level is limited, if you have any questions, please correct.

① The wall thickness between valve block holes should not be less than 5mm

② If the design wall thickness is too small and the machining error is too small, the thin wall may be produced and there is a risk of hole wall breakdown under high pressure. Therefore, the design dimension of hole wall spacing above 5mm should be kept.

③ In general, the hole depth of valve block shall not exceed 25 times of hole spacing

Most of the boreholes in the valve block intersect at right angles, and sometimes the two intersecting boreholes cannot intersect at the axis, so the relative eccentricity e will appear, whose value is the ratio of eccentricity to aperture (4.2 / 14 = 0.3 in the figure below). Due to the relative eccentricity and local resistance coefficient in the processing of hydraulic valve block ξ relevant, ξ= When e is less than 0.3, the resistance coefficient is acceptable.

Most of the valves are operated in the open air, so the corrosion problem should be considered when designing the valve block, and the anti-corrosion measures should be taken to avoid unnecessary failure.
