Design and calculation of valve block

The valve block is composed of various hydraulic valves connected with each other. A variety of complex control behaviors can be realized by the combination of different states of various valves connected to the valve block.


Design process of hydraulic valve block:


The purpose of valve block design is to realize the functions defined in the schematic diagram, so it is necessary to have a deep understanding of the hydraulic schematic diagram.


Mark the hydraulic valve model and interface dimension of each position in the corresponding position on the schematic diagram.


Mark the type (pressure port, return port, discharge port) and dimension of each port on the schematic diagram.


Mark the large working pressure and flow rate on the schematic diagram.


After understanding the hydraulic principle, you can draw the structure of the valve block roughly on the paper. The overall dimension (the overall dimension is not only the size of the valve block itself, but also the protruding part of the valve body and joint) the valve block manufacturer should roughly determine according to the installation space of the valve block and the number of oil ports. The valve block structure should be compact as far as possible when arranging the oil port.


The valve block shall be provided with a mounting surface. Generally, the lower surface is the mounting surface. When placing the valve block, the four adjacent surfaces shall be at a height from the mounting surface to facilitate the installation of hydraulic valve or joint.


When the main stage channel is connected with several plug-ins, in order to reduce the pressure loss, the processing of hydraulic valve block should generally make the jack center line tangent to the main stage channel wall, and the channel diameter can also be increased, and the increased channel diameter must conform to JB / t5963. The external oil port of the main channel should be connected by flange, and SAE flange (saej518) is generally used.


The diameter of the pilot hole should be the same as the national standard gb2877, and the external oil port of the pilot hole is generally connected by thread (the thread connection should conform to gb2878).


The process channel shall be plugged with screw plug, and the screw thread of screw plug shall meet the national standard gb2878.


Valve block processing main stage port and important pilot port need to set detection port, which is used to detect the working parameters of hydraulic circuit. The detection port is generally installed with quick connection function joint. The valve block is provided with screw holes for hoisting to facilitate hoisting and transportation.


Because the oil port of the manifold block needs to be connected to the outside with a straight end connector, if the oil port is too small, the connectors will interfere with each other or cannot be tightened with a wrench.
